Walex Mining & Processing explores, develops, and operates solid-mineral assets in Nigeria. We bring modern equipment, rigorous safety practice, and transparent community engagement to a sector that demands all three.
Nigeria holds substantial reserves of industrial and precious minerals — limestone, gypsum, kaolin, barite, tin, columbite, tantalite, lithium, gold, and more — much of it under-explored and under-developed. We target licensed deposits where modern methods can deliver consistent product quality for domestic industry and international buyers.
Our work begins with geological assessment and resource definition. We then develop the site — access, power, water, and processing infrastructure — and bring it into production using mechanised extraction and modern beneficiation. The result is a graded, certified product ready for the cement, construction, chemical, and electronics industries, or for export through Walex Commodities.
Mining is only sustainable when the people doing the work and the communities around the site are protected. Every Walex site operates under a safety management system with documented procedures, trained personnel, and independent audit. We engage host communities before, during, and after operations — on employment, on infrastructure, and on environmental restoration.
