Walex Oil & Gas is the energy business of Walex Biz Group. We operate across the downstream petroleum value chain — the movement, storage, trading, and retail of refined products — and we partner with operators, marketers, and government agencies on the infrastructure that underpins national energy security.
Our core activity is the reliable distribution of petroleum products — premium motor spirit, automotive gas oil, aviation turbine kerosene, and lubricants — from depot to end user. We operate our own fleet through Walex Biz Logistics, manage storage capacity at licensed depots, and supply retail stations, industrial users, and commercial fleets.
Beyond distribution, we trade refined products on the domestic and regional market, structure offtake and supply agreements for industrial clients, and develop retail fuel stations under the Walex brand.
The energy sector rewards discipline and punishes shortcuts. Every depot, every vehicle, and every station we operate runs to a documented safety management system aligned with international practice. Our drivers are trained and certified; our tankers are inspected and maintained to schedule; our products are tested at every custody transfer.
We take environmental responsibility seriously. Spill prevention, vapour recovery, and waste management are built into our operating procedures, and we report on our performance to regulators and partners.
We work with the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority, with state governments, and with international partners on projects that expand storage capacity, modernise retail infrastructure, and improve supply reliability in underserved regions.
