Commercial crop production, agro-processing, and farmer programs that raise yields and incomes.
Agriculture employs more Nigerians than any other sector and feeds a population of more than 220 million. Yet yields remain low, post-harvest losses remain high, and smallholder farmers — who produce most of the country's food — lack access to quality inputs, finance, and reliable markets.
Through Walex Biz Farms, the Group operates mechanised commercial farms, structured outgrower programs, and processing and storage facilities. We produce staple and cash crops at scale, we support thousands of smallholder farmers with inputs and guaranteed offtake, and we preserve value from farm gate to market through drying, milling, and cold storage.
What sets us apart is integration. Our farms are served by the Group's logistics arm, managed on platforms built by the Group's technology arm, and connected to international markets through the Group's commodities arm. Few agricultural businesses in Nigeria can offer that depth.
Food security is national security. Raising yields, reducing losses, and connecting farmers to markets is some of the most important work the Group does.
We look for people who hold themselves to a high standard — because the work we do, in the sectors we operate in, demands nothing less.
