Downstream petroleum, fuel distribution, and the infrastructure that keeps a nation moving.
Energy is foundational to everything the Group does — and to the Nigerian economy. Through Walex Oil & Gas we distribute refined petroleum products, trade on the domestic and regional market, operate storage and retail, and partner on infrastructure that strengthens national energy security.
Nigeria is Africa's largest oil producer and one of its fastest-growing energy consumers, yet downstream infrastructure — depots, pipelines, retail networks — has not kept pace with demand. Supply reliability varies by region; quality control is inconsistent; much of the retail network is ageing. These are problems that disciplined operators can solve, and solving them is a national priority.
We operate to international standards of safety and environmental care. We invest in the people, vehicles, and facilities that make those standards real on the ground. And we build partnerships — with regulators, state governments, and international operators — that expand capacity where it is most needed.
The energy transition will reshape the sector over the coming decades. We are positioning the Group to participate — in gas, in renewables, and in the infrastructure that will carry Nigeria through that transition — while serving today's demand responsibly.
We look for people who hold themselves to a high standard — because the work we do, in the sectors we operate in, demands nothing less.
