Walex Biz Group Launches Mining & Processing and Commodity Trading Businesses

ABUJA, Nigeria — October 5, 2026 — Walex Biz Group today announced the formation of two new operating companies: Walex Mining & Processing, which will explore, develop, and operate solid-mineral assets in Nigeria; and Walex Commodities, which will source, certify, and export agricultural and mineral commodities to international buyers.

Walex Mining & Processing will target licensed deposits of industrial and precious minerals — including limestone, gypsum, kaolin, barite, tin, columbite, tantalite, and lithium — where modern exploration, mechanised extraction, and proper beneficiation can deliver a consistent, certified product for domestic industry and export. The company will operate under a documented safety management system and will engage host communities before, during, and after operations.

Walex Commodities builds on the Group's established charcoal export operation, adding sesame, cocoa, cashew, ginger, shea, and solid minerals for buyers in Europe, the Middle East, and North America. The company manages the full chain — producer networks, quality control at origin, export documentation and compliance, and shipping through Walex Biz Logistics — giving international buyers a single accountable counterparty.
